Here is our heating maintenance check list:
- AIR FILTERS: Changing your air filters regularly will protect furnace and maintain indoor air quality. Clogged filters can decrease the airflow and stop the heating unit from working.
- GAS SUPPLY: Inspect for gas leaks using a combustion analyzer tool. Gas leaks can be dangerous and potentially lead to carbon monoxide poisoning.
- FLAME SENSOR: Cleaning the flame sensor can prevent the furnace from burning fuel unsafely.
- ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS: Inspect for broken, loose or damaged electrical connections. We will tighten or replace them if needed.
- THERMOSTAT: Check the thermostat to be sure it is calibrating correctly at the set temperature of your comfort.
- VENTS: Check and ensure the vents are properly opened and/ or closed for proper airflow.
- PILOT LIGHT: Vacuum and clean any dust particles to ensure proper function.
- DRAIN LINE: Flush and clean drain line to prevent any blockage or clogs.
